Annual membership is a fixed fee.
Once your payment is received you will be covered for a period of one year* (*subject to minimun time passing. See below).
If you break down in the vehicle registered with us we will get you back home from anywhere on the UK mainland, at any time day or night and as many times as required. Fair use policy applies.
For vehicles that require more than three recoveries in any one year an increase to the annual fee may be charged for any renewal.
Cover is only for the vehicle registered.
Cover can be transferred to another vehicle owned by the account holder.
Cover is transferred to the new vehicle only upon confirmation from 88recovery and immediately cancels cover for the original vehicle.
Only one vehicle per premium.
For any vehicle broken down outside of a one hour collection time from Colchester we will organise a local recovery vehicle for you.
Cover can be cancelled at any time, but no pro-rata refund will be due if any recoveries have occured.
If a breakdown occurs while a fare is onboard it is the driver's or driver's operator's responsibility to arrange onward travel for the fare. 88 Recovery play no part in the transfer of the fare.
*Cover can not be arranged for immediate recovery. At least 24 hours must pass after initial payment before a recovery can be requested. No restriction thereafter.
